Why haven't my BTC arrived in my wallet yet after purchasing them at a Bitomat?

BTC does not always appear in your wallet immediately after a purchase at a Bitcoin ATM. Check your transaction history and keep the receipt. If the wait is prolonged or you see an error, contact Rothbard support. When to report the issue depends on the situation — you do not have to wait six hours if the Bitcoin ATM reports a problem.
Why might a Bitcoin transaction take longer?
After your purchase, BTC is sent to your wallet address, not to a bank account. Completing the purchase at the Bitcoin ATM, broadcasting the transaction to the network and having it confirmed are separate stages.
The confirmation time depends on factors such as the Bitcoin network’s load and the network fee. The wallet may initially show the transaction as pending. The fact that the balance does not change immediately does not yet allow us to determine the cause of the delay.
What should I check now?
- Open your wallet's transaction history and check for a pending transaction.
- Compare the receiving address on the receipt with the address used for the purchase, if the address is shown on the receipt.
- Keep the transaction number. If you also have a TXID, the transaction identifier on the Bitcoin network, have it ready for your support request.
The operator's order number and the TXID do not have to be the same number. The absence of a TXID on the printout does not automatically mean that the funds are lost.

When should you contact support?
Do not delay reporting the issue if the ATM Bitcoin displayed an error, did not print a receipt or the transaction details do not match. If you are simply waiting, check the available status; if you do not know what it means, ask for an explanation.
If your wallet shows several confirmations but the balance still does not match the purchase amount, please describe this in your support ticket. This situation requires a review of the specific transaction, rather than continuing to wait solely because of possible network congestion.
Don't make another purchase just because the first one isn't visible yet. First, check its status. Don't share your recovery phrase or private key with anyone.
What should you include in your support request?
Have the transaction number, date and time, amount and currency, Bitcoin ATM location and a brief description of what you see ready. Send the receipt through the official contact channel if support asks for it. This information will help locate the transaction and determine the next step.
Not sure what stage your purchase is at? Have your transaction number ready and ask us to check.
