Here you'll find answers to questions about buying and selling cryptocurrencies, setting up a wallet, and using Rothbard ATMs.
1. Select Bitcoin ATM Rothbard on the map and check the hours of operation and verification requirements.
2. On the screen, select the purchase, cryptocurrency, and supported network. Prepare a wallet receiving address for the same cryptocurrency and network.
3. Follow the device’s instructions: insert the accepted cash and scan the QR code for the receiving address, or enter the address manually if the device allows it.
4. Before confirming, check the address, network, exchange rate, fees, and the amount of cryptocurrency you’ll receive. Keep the receipt and verify that the funds have been credited to your wallet.
Important: You are purchasing cryptocurrency with cash. The QR code should display your receiving address on a supported network.
1. Visit the page “Sell cryptocurrency now and withdraw your money at a Bitomat.”
2. Select your cryptocurrency from the list to receive a transfer address. Transfer the funds to the provided address. In return, you’ll receive a unique barcode to scan at a Bitomat.
3. Wait forthetransaction to be confirmed on the blockchain. You can checkthestatus onthe “Check Transaction Status” page. Check the current order status and follow the on-screen instructions. Before withdrawing, make sure the order is ready for cash pickup.
4. Before visiting, confirm that cash withdrawal is available at your selected Rothbard bitomat, check its hours of operation, and verify cash availability. Follow the instructions on the order and on the machine.
Alternatively: You can sell cryptocurrency directly at the ATM, bypassing the website. Scan the QR code displayed on the machine’s screen and follow the instructions.
A cryptocurrency wallet is a smartphone app that lets you store and manage your digital assets. We don’t require you to install any specific app – choose the one that suits you best, for example TrustWallet, MetaMask, or another. It’s like a digital wallet or bank card, but for cryptocurrencies. You scan its QR code at the Bitcoin ATM reader.
For advanced users: You can enter your address manually. This means you can use any type of wallet on the machines – you just need to know its address.
