To unblock a transaction, please contact the Customer Support Team using one of the methods described on the Contact page or call the number listed on the Bitomat machine. Before calling, please have the following information ready:
1. a photo of the receipt/transaction number,
2. the date, time, and location of the transaction,
3. a scan/photo of both sides of your ID—driver’s license, passport,
4. an explanation/answers to the following questions:
- why we wanted to make the transaction,
- who we were sending the currency to,
- what we know about cryptocurrencies and how blockchain works,
- do we know that institutions and banks do not accept cryptocurrency payments,
- were we forced to make the transaction,
- which code to scan at which stage
The printout shows two codes: the top QR Code and the bottom Barcode. The first—the QR code—is used to deposit cryptocurrency to an address so you can withdraw cash in your local currency at an ATM. Confusing these codes is a common issue, hence the last question.
The second (Barcode) is used to withdraw verified funds in local currency. This means that you scan the QR code with your phone to make a deposit, and you scan the barcode at the ATM to receive the funds after conversion.
